Personality:
Schuyler wouldn't be described as entirely sane. She tends to talk to herself, however she makes sure no one can hear her. Schuyler had a very rough past and was never able to get over it. She is not necessarily very friendly. Schuyler finds it very hard to trust anyone, despite the fact that they maybe Night Crawlers. Depending on Schuyler's mood she can be very aggressive. Schuyler doesn't like being told what to do no matter who you are. Schuyler lost respect for anyone with authority a very long time ago.
Schuyler rarely chooses to befriend people. When she does choose to try and be your friend she can be a bit friendly. But she hardly ever tells anyone about her past. Schuyler used to only befriend humans because she regretted her past and tried to make up for it, but once they became extinct it made her become a bit distant. But now that she hears of them coming back she still remains doubtful and is harder to become friends with.
When Schuyler gets mad she can be very hard to stop. However, Schuyler knows how to control her anger she just chooses not to. After Schuyler's past she really doesn't care if she kills people or not. She can be quite ruthless and, as some people may describe her, their worst nightmare.Schuyler hates being threatened and obviously doesn't respond well to threats. Schuyler naturally hates Night Crawlers with the power of telepathy because she doesn't want anyone getting inside her head.

Past: When Schuyler was born her father had been out of town at his father's funeral. Schuyler's mother, Rose, was unable to attend because of Schuyler's birth. Rose named her daughter while her husband was away. When Schuyler's father returned he wasn't too happy about his daughter being named without his consent, but eventually learned to love the name. Schuyler grew up differently than her parents had pictured it. She often kept to herself and didn't have many friends. Her parents had multiple private tutors, but none ever made it past a maximum of two months because Schuyler would test them and wasn't very cooperative. This forced her parents to have to teach her. Schuyler was a bit more attentive to them than she had been with her tutors, but found it easier to learn at her own pace and to read her parent's books on her own.
Schuyler was thirteen when she made her first true friend, Samuel. Schuyler and Sam were best friends for over a year. Sam and Schuyler never had any interest in each other as being more than friends. When Schuyler turned sixteen a strange man appeared in her mother's garden. No one else recalled seeing anyone and so Schuyler believed she was dreaming. But then the man appeared three more times throughout the year. One night a week before Schuyler's sixteenth birthday Schuyler awoke when the sound of footsteps coming up the stairs woke her up.
Schuyler got out of bed to inspect, but when she stepped into the hallway no one was on the staircase. The house was dark and she could hear her father's snoring coming from his room. But then a faint light came up the stairs, at first it was dull then it became a fiery red and orange glow. Schuyler raced downstairs to see that the entire living room was on fire. Her mother stood cornered in the far end of the room and she stood staring blankly at something or someone. Schuyler entered the room just as her mother told her to run. Schuyler was yanked back and thrown across the room. Her head hit the stone walls and she blacked out for only a few seconds. Schuyler was unlucky and saw her mother attacked by a Night Crawler.
Schuyler's mother was killed by a Night Crawler, and when her father awoke from her mother's yell he was also killed. But for some reason, which Schuyler never found out, the Night Crawler took her and a few days later turned her. He basically turned her into who she is now. She was once quite friendly when she wanted to be and was very nice all the time no matter what.
Sample Post:
It was hard to grasp the thought that almost two hundred years ago Schuyler had watched her parents die and then watched herself lose a part of who she once was. Schuyler hated her sire for what he did to her family and herself. She never understood why her family was chosen or why the Night Crawler had turned her. Every other week her sire would leave her to take care of some "unfinished business", leaving her to fend for herself and try to keep her thirst at bay. But eventually she wasn't able to control that hunger all by herself, she really didn't know how, plus she wasn't taught to control her hunger. Her sire always told her that she was to follow her instincts and that humans gladly gave their lives to feed Night Crawlers.
But she knew it wasn't true. Their faces haunted her most at the beginning. Their mouths wide open with horror. Now, that seemed so distant. Schuyler truly didn't mind killing anyone, even if it was a fellow Night Crawler. She was quite ruthless now, not the small innocent child she had once been. Looking back at the memories that she could remember Schuyler wasn't sure that the girl who loved her parents more than anything was the same girl that stared back at her in the broken mirror. Schuyler held her hands up in front of her face, just as she had done when she had been turned. Their was nothing different about her. She looked the same as she had always looked, except for the different haircut. The only thing different was who she was on the inside. She was a cold blooded killer, and she wasn't at all ashamed to admit it either.
Schuyler had figured that her sire had experimented on her. The way he turned a teenage girl, one of all innocence. He always taught her to be cruel and uncaring. That's what he got after an entire year of being a Night Crawler. After every kill he would ask, "What do you feel?" And Schuyler would always answer with, "Like a monster." She supposed that was how she appeared to others not of her kind, maybe even some of her kind. But she didn't care what anyone thought about her. So on that one night when she fed her sire asked her the same question for what would be the last time. He was very sure that he would get what he wanted, or he acted like it. They had strutted down the dark street, her sire with a delicate swing to his walk which Schuyler had soon picked up. So after her kill, Schuyler had answered, "I feel nothing at all." Her sire had smiled so brightly that she was sure his mouth would be stuck that way forever. The next night she awoke to find her sire gone.
Schuyler grinned an evil smile. Her sharp teeth glinted in the dim light as she did so. Schuyler touched the side of her face. Her black nail polish stood out against her pale white skin. Schuyler's gray eyes seemed emotionless except when she was up to something.
