Andreas has a special charm floating about him that seems to pull people to him. His tight jawline, snow white skin, deep, chocolaty brown hair, black eyes, and thin, luscious pink lips are only one aspect of the vampire, besides his personality. Andreas, even as a human, had the genes of good looks passed down to him. His dark eyes trap people in their gaze holding them captivated in his luminescent appearance. Andreas's lips are even more inviting. Women fall head over heels at his crooked smiles and pure white teeth. The fact of being able to kiss those lips almost sends people flying.
Andreas has a well built body as well. His broad shoulders can sweep any girl off their feet. Standing at 6'3", Andreas towers over people cascading them in his frame. He has thin, pale fingers that seem to have a grasp so gentle to the touch that it seems he couldn't even crush a blade of grass in his palm. Andreas's skin resembles newly fallen snow, or even the glow of a full moon on a starry night. Like a brownie, Andreas's hair swirls in chocolate rich color.

Personality:It's been a long, long time...
Andreas's main aspects: He loves to socialize, feels it's not his duty to help people he doesn't know, secrecy, and absolutely sees "falling in love" as the happy ending that can never come true. Andreas is a party person. He enjoys talking to people and finding out more about them. In his eyes, simply talking to a person could be glimpsing into their mind for a "sneak peek" at who he will be confronting. It is hard for a person to gain Andreas's trust. Being in his own little world most of the time, Andreas hates when someone who doesn't know him enough comes in and spoils all of the fun. Andreas enjoys "playing with his food" before he makes his final move to feed. Being able to socialize and flirt with people like he was human again makes him feel more alive than anything else in the world.
In any case, Andreas can be quite full of himself. He overestimates the power of his beauty. Andreas knows that he has his limits, but chooses to ignore them. Andreas likes to live a life of secrecy. Andy enjoys mystifying people and making them wonder about him. He doesn't understand why people are afraid to ask questions and so he sees himself being secluded as a way to break people out of the comfort zone to find out more about him. But Andreas won't give them enough time to figure out everyhing...Andreas doesn't like to help people that he doesn't know or who aren't of his kind. During his past no one ever helped Andreas. His older brother picked on him, his father traveled most of the time, and his mother died before he turned twelve. Andreas grew up without anyone's help, being as weak as he was, he never got a sufficient amount of food. He thinks that if someone as weak as him could have survived the hardships of living alone, others can too.
The fact about love for Andreas is that it is a merry fairy tale that people believe to be true, but are simply blinded by their desire to love and be loved. Andreas doesn't see how falling in love with your one true perfect match can be possible. Andreas likes to live in the moment, not to think about the past and not to think about the future with anyone. A possible hidden reason could be because no one ever took an interest in Andreas when he was human. He was just a weed in a rose garden to the locals. However, Andreas finds it quite entertaining to watch people trail each other claiming that they are in love. He says, "The world is like one big stage, and I am just a well paying member of the audience." But the truth is, Andreas just needs someone to take him down a different path and show him that the world isn't fake, but he can make it anything he wants.
Strengths:
-Andreas's ego allows him to be completely unaffected by criticism.
-His ability to read minds gives him a few seconds heads up if they are to attack him.
-Andreas is a daydreamer, which makes him very creative.
Weaknesses:
-Andreas doesn't believe in love, so when someone mentions it, they touch a nerve.
-Andreas doesn't like to talk about his past, it makes him quite unhappy.
-Andreas fears death.
Mental Health: Andreas is really quite sane, but when people really get to know him and what he believes they often call him "insane" for being so oblivious to the world around him.

Past:
At the beginning of his life Andreas was his mother's pride and joy. Tomas had also been her pride and joy, but he was four when Andreas was born, and was jealous of the attention his younger brother got. Their father Alejandro, was a merchant, and traveled all over the place selling homemade cloth, garments, and candles. Amelia-Luz was a very creative woman, and loved to come up with new things for Alejandro to sell. Their family wasn't real wealthy, but they had enough to get by a bit better than a lot of people in town. When Andreas was two, Tomas six, Amelia-Luz's mother fell deathly ill. the boys had to move into the same room, so Mama Garza could live with the Luna-Garza family. For months Tomas and Andreas had to do many of Amelia-Luz's work. They had to learn to cut up vegetables, weed the garden, feed the chickens and cattle. At the end of the year, just as Tomas turned seven, Mama Garza passed away. The death of her mother caused Amelia-Luz to fall into a light depression and carried on in her life a little quieter than in the past.
By the time Andreas was eleven and Tomas was fifteen, Alejandro was losing his business. Other merchants had begun to make homemade goods far better than Amelia-Luz was, and since Amelia-Luz had lost her touch because of her depression, the family started to fall apart. Alejandro began spending late nights with friends, coming home drunk way past everyone in the house had gone to sleep. Over time he became an alcoholic and he would occasionally break out in a mad rage. Amelia-Luz was never physically harmed by her husband, but she was never able to protect her sons from their father's anger. The boys had a few bruises once or twice every month, but nothing to serious, because their father would eventually come to his senses.
The situation was horrible at home. Andreas and Tomas only had each other, but even Tomas chose to go his own way. He became friends with a group of local bullies who would pick on the younger kids in town. Andreas didn't take many blows from them because he helped his mother at home most of the time. But when Tomas would come home, Andreas was his main target. Andreas was a quiet kid and did everything his mother told him to. He was a very talented boy, he knew how to cook, almost as well as his mother. Andreas would always try to cheer up his mother. But no matter how hard he tried, the images of her husband's rampages and her mother's cold dead hand continued to plague her mind. When Andreas was twelve, her mother became confined to her bed from a very heavy depression. She had stopped eating, and talking, only saying a few words a day. She never went outside, made candles or sewed. The family had already been bad off, they hardly had a meal to fill their plates, like many of the family's in the town. When summer approached, Amelia-Luz committed suicide.
It took days for Tomas and Alejandro to convince Andreas that his mother was gone and that she was in a better place. Alejandro tried to quite drinking in order to support his sons, but he couldn't fully overcome his addiction. However, he remained in good mind enough to refrain from slipping into his angry rages. Tomas left home when he was about seventeen. He wanted to get away from home because there were too many bad memories. Andreas wanted to do the same as well, but he felt bad about leaving his father. They had no other family nearby and all of the other family had unknown whereabouts. When Andreas was twenty-one he finally found someone. On a trip with his father, selling the last of their stock of candles and cloth, Andreas met a girl names Maria. She was a year younger than him, but that didn't stop him from taking an interest in her. She was tall, about 5'6" and had long tin limbs. She was lightly tanned, with long black wavy hair, and hazel eyes. She was a sweet natured girl form a very wealthy family. Maria's parents though, were against her marrying anyone of a lower class than them. Their story was a lot like Romeo and Juliet's. They had to sneak off late at night and or early in the morning in order to see each other. They originally planned to run away together when the trip was over, but before real plans could be made, Maria's parents had set up an arranged marriage. There was no one to prevent it, and so, the wedding was held in front of the whole town, and Andreas had to watch the woman he loved be swept off her feet by another man. When Andreas's twenty-third birthday rolled around, he met a very strange traveler from out of town. He asked to bunk with a local family and so Andreas and Alejandro took him in. The man was very mysterious and made the townspeople feel extremely uncomfortable, despite his beauty. One night he claimed to be one hundred years old during a chat between him and Andreas. At first Andy thought it was all a joke, until he showed him what he really was. The man turned Andreas because he saw the survivor in Andreas and believed someone like him should be able to live forever.
Sample Post:
Andreas approached the top of the hill. It was dark, and there was only a slight tint of purple in the sky. There were no clouds, the stars shone with absolute brilliance. The moon was only a mere sliver in the sky, hardy anything for Andreas to look at. He smiled as the stars twinkled brightly. It was amazing how he was able to see the world at it's most treasured moment. Night. It was Andreas's favorite part of the 24 hours he spent traveling and alone. Andreas wore a black turtleneck, dark blue jeans, black Converse, and a faded leather jacket. He sighed sitting down on the emerald green grass, the swayed softly in the light breeze. There it was, the sweet smell of roses mixed with the cinnamon spice. He closed his eyes, inhaling deeply, remembering the past as if it were only yesterday...
On the same hill, Andreas Luna-Garza sat. His bay horse stood tied to the tree branch about twenty feet away from him. And there came that smell. The sweet smell, of his beloved Maria, carried by the night wind. He didn't even have to turn his head to know that she stood behind him. With soft hands, Maria bent down and ran her hands through his brown hair. He reached up, lightly gripping the backs of her knees. Maria stepped out of his grasp to gracefully prop herself down in his lap. They looked at each other for a very long moment, before Andreas spoke. He could tell something was wrong,g but as always he couldn't figure it out, how he would give to be able to read her mind so he could be prepared for what was about to leave her mouth.
"What is it Maria?" He said softly, bending his head into the crook of her neck. She sighed. It wasn't a satisfied sigh like usual, but a sad, quite defeated sigh. She pulled a piece of her hair out of her eyes and tucked it behind her ear. She looked at the stars, her eyes tearing up slightly. Andreas looked at her startled and kissed her pale, cold cheek.
"We can't leave...I can't leave, not anymore." She said, the las few words coming out as a choke as tears started to fall down her cheeks like a spring rain. Andreas pulled out his mother's old handkerchief and began wiping away the tears until the cloth was damp.
"I don't understand..." He said, knowing exactly what she meant, but not daring to say it out loud. Her parents, that's what. They did something to prevent the two of us from being together, just because I don't have the money they do. But since when did money matter?!In his head he began blaming his mother and Mama Garza for this. If Mama Garza hadn't fallen ill, my mother would have never become depressed in the first place, she might even still be alive. But Mama Garza had to come live with us instead of our other family members. Father would have the money to support us and I would have the money to support Maria...But he knew it wasn't anyone's fault. Maria's parents wanted their daughter to be well taken care of, to be given what she wanted. But he couldn't give her everything she wanted. He couldn't afford the finest silks or the prettiest horses.
"My parents have arranged for me to marry Senor Ortega." And that concluded the discussion. Senor Ortega, one of the wealthiest single men in town, and Maria was his for the taking now, no loner Andreas's. There was no argument, just a silent regret that they hadn't acted sooner. It weighed down on them like a thousand lead blocks, crushing them slowly until they sucked in their last breath, After and hour of sitting in the dark, Maria and Andreas parted and sad their final goodbyes. Andreas rode of quietly, slowly, in a defeated hunch. Maria walked off into the growing darkness toward town, the lights of some houses glittering, reflecting off the ongoing waterfall that absorbed Maria's once happy face.
Andreas opened his eyes sighing. He knew that love was possible, but he didn't want to admit it, didn't want to get hurt again. Maybe it was destined for them to have parted. For if he had run off with Maria, he would have never become who or what he was today. And so in the same exact silence that plagued his mind with questions and blame, Andreas left the emerald grass hill.
