This was the same old lonely place it had been when she could call it home. Everyone bustling around, no one noticing her, or understanding anything for that matter. It was like even when her world ended everything stayed the same; an unending cycle that was unstoppable. Even without being able to communicate with anyone here it seemed half decent here to stay for a day before trying to find Richard again. He had just up and left her; how could he do that? It was overly confusing this place though. Without being a socialite that she had been everything was no better then her being a peasant or a beggar on the street. Robin bit her lip figuring that there was no use in fighting the whole thing. She would have to find out what was going on here, what year it was for that matter, and where in the world she was. It was more then clear things had changed but managed to stay the same at the same time. Or at least the dynamics had probably changed greatly. What was with these people with colored hair? She had never seen so many people that had the strangest hair and eye colored. Not to mention they smelled amazing.
She stepped out attempting to not look like she was some crazy person on the side of the street as she grabbed people and signed hoping someone might understand even a little bit. But all she was managing to get was a bunch of strange looks till she gave up for now and leaned against a brick wall of a building. She sneered at one of the strange haired people who stared at her like they were about to do something stupid. Robin sighed heavily shaking her head and tapping her foot as she tried to think about what she was going to do. Reading lips wasn’t the hard part it was just getting people to understand what she was trying to say. She kicked a stone that was on the ground and snorted looking at someone else who seemed to be staring her. She signed something seeing them look like she was crazy before she glared. She figured she could give him a sign even he would understand. She flicked him the bird and watched him glare and walk away.
Was everyone ignorant now? Or was no one deaf anyone? She sure was she why wasn’t anyone else. Or she assumed there had to be someone else that was around here…
