KENNA ISABELLA RUEREN
" This spell keeps blowing up in my face, what a bugger! "
you say you're curious
CAN'T LEAVE A THING TO YOUR IMAGINATION
AGE: 19
GENDER: Female
BIRTHDAY: 28th May
SPECIES: Gifted
ANIMAL/GIFT: Elemental
OCCUPATION: None, she spends too much time trying to make her spells work.

[/ul]
but oh, you seem so serious
I SHOULD ENJOY THE SWEET INTERROGATION
HAIR: Naturally wavy and dirty blonde.
WEIGHT: 151.8 lbs
HEIGHT: 5' 6.1"
VOICE: Somewhat hoarse and you really don't want to hear her sing.
PLAY-BY: Lisa Lents (edited of course )
GENERAL: Kenna has various, small scars on her underarms from all the time, she has tried to rehearse her 'Fire-whip' - which she, by the way, haven't learned to do right yet - of course, she could always go to one of the healers, but was extremely bothered by the fact, she couldn't even get something as simply as that right. Other than that, she has a tattoo of a snake around her right ancle. Other than that, then going wrong by her pink eyes and green hair should be pretty hard.
ATTIRE: Underneath the large, black, hooded cape she's wearing to hide her... deformalities, she usually likes being in casual clothes. Loose shirts and pants is a favourite. It's weird to see her in anything, that is extremely feminine and she just doesn't do it in dresses and skirts.
SCARS: Kenna does have a problem with spells continuously going wrong close to her and as such have a lot of minor burns and cuts, that she figured wouldn't be worth going to a healer for, mostly because that it's usually is her spells, that is going wrong.

i should not be telling you
I'M FLATTERED BY YOUR INTEREST
- Whenever she's able to go through a spell without it going wrong.
- Cakes. All kinds of cake. Especially cupcakes.
- Nature. Both the still nature and the nature that's able to move.
- Books. She just loves to sit down and read, whatever it's a romance or a guide to spells.
- Dozing off. Whenever she's not struggling to become better at spell casting, she likes lazying around.
DISLIKES:
- Hard work. She's not one to value the sweat on her brow.
- Going to a Healer. Whenever she's being healed, she feels like the healer can see everything, how she got the wound, who it was inflicted by and so on.
- Responsibility. Kenna would rather doze off somewhere or study her sorry bottom off, than having to actually take the blame. That doesn't mean, she doesn't do it, though.
- Night. She doesn't know why, but it just so... creepy. Maybe because she actually knows what lurking out there.
- Small rooms. Kenna have a case of Claustrophobia, because of her past.
STRENGTHS: Kenna is really hard to stress, because of her lazy nature and her short attention span. She can be a really good friend, once you have gotten over her small quirks and her difficulty to concentrate. She is also exceptional in the art of falling asleep.
WEAKNESSES: Kenna have a problem with concentration, because she have a short attention span. Which isn't such a great trait, when you're a Gifted. This also makes it complicated to teach her anything, since she usually doze off. And it may serve to make others annoyed, when talking to her. She have a horrible sense of direction and get's lost very easily.
QUIRKS/HABITS: Because of her somewhat 'glowing' hair, she feels the need to look around for something shiny, whenever the light gets caught in it. Other than that, then her constant failure makes her easy to spot. And then she have a habit of observing peoples nose, when they're talking.
FEARS: Small places. And then complicated hair setup. And shots. And well... just needles in general.
GOALS: To become the greatest elemental Gifted ever! Not just living greatest. There's a long way to go, though.
PERSONALITY
When first meeting Kenna, you may think she's a total goof. Mainly, because she's either a) asleep b) reading or c) eating cake. Though, she sometimes lock herself in an empty room for hours and tries again and again to get the spell she's working on to work. Usually a simple spell, that may normally take 1-2 days to fully learn, can take up to a week for Kenna! - Granted it doesn't blow up in her face and she have to go and see a healer. Then she usually slacks off, trying to save herself the humilation to go to the healer again in the nearest future. She would like to keep it at once a week. The reason why it's not going so well for her, is because she either lack the concentration or she's simply not concentrating at all. And then she likes to make her own twist to the spell – halfway through the original. Usually, this only serve her another burn (should she be practicing fire spells,), a cut (wind spells), a bump (earth spells) or her nearly being drowned.
Socially, she may be a little annoying to talk to with her constantly losing focus and changing topics. She can have an entire conversation about the same topic, though, if it really interest her. And then she just likes to talk about cake. She likes baking, but sometimes get too bored off following a recipe and tries with various ingredients, she just finds to taste good. Surprisingly enough, be it either by skill or pure luck, the cake she makes is eatable. If she gets too much sugar, instead of going total hyper, she falls asleep. Due to her past, she doesn't really know how to act around people and sometimes come off as way too happy. She have small mood swings, but doesn't find herself down very often. She also finds herself suddenly lost, taking a turn she's never even dreamed of taking, because she was lost in thoughts. Instead of just staying still and hoping someone comes and finds her, she walks even further, trying to find her way out by herself.

WHY SHOULD I TRUST YOU
FATHER: Isamuel Rueren.
SIBLINGS: None that she knows off.
PET: Well, after she killed off her cactus, she's been afraid to get anything in fear of making it suffer a horrible death.
PLACE OF BIRTH: She's not sure. But she knows she haven't crossed any oceans. As far as she remembers.
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Charmith Castle.
HISTORY:
Kenna was not born as a Gifted. She was born as a simple human, but never figured out she was different from others at that point. She did not know her mother and her father always only spoke of her in past tense. So, she figured she was dead or had changed very drastically. Her father was en excellent Gifted with an affinity with Elemental spells. He taught her a lot of teory, while he every night injected her with a little of his own magic, trying to 'change' her. The only thing it lead to, was Kenna having weird dreams and feeling high, like she was on some kind of drug. And then the pounding headache, that always seemed to follow her. The walls that seemed to close in on her and the shadows, that reached out after her. Her eyes and hair, that slowly changed colour. Her body flat out rejecting the strange energy in her body and therefore causing her to hallucinate.
The only magic she ever was able to do, was to lit a matchstick without burning herself. She would cook for them both, because her father would be in his office, thinking about how he should conceal his daughter or change her fully. One day, he figured, that just injecting her with small doses would only cause her body to burn the weird substance out. He would have to inject the very core of his energy. Kenna, having not met other than her father, had eventually thought up a lot of imaginery friends. Usually the shadows would make the most lifelike figures. She had not heard him coming and suddenly, she could feel a fire starting in her back and spreading out towards her fingers and legs. Then it suddenly turned cold and the next moment it was like there was a statue of stone inside her.
The sudden energy core inside her caused her mind to completely turn off, and when she came to her senses again, she was inside a tent with an oddly looking man hovering above her. He looked like he had giant, black sacks under his eyes and his nose were oddly sharp. And then his hair was layered and all... feather-looking. She could feel the weird pulsing sensation inside her and the way her skin suddenly seemed warmer. She never learned the man's name, because in the next moment, she was screaming in pain and blacked out again. When she woke anew, she was in Charmith Castle wtih a healer standing above her.

AGE: 15.
EXPERIENCE: Well... 2-3 years since I started 'hardcore' roleplaying?
CONTACT: I guess you could always PM me... or PM me and get my hotmail. I don't really like leaving it in the open. Not after all the junk I've been getting z.z
EXAMPLE:
Saran had been dreaming. Something about a princess in a red, frilly dress and him in some gigantic, silver, knight-like armor and a giant Pokémon with wings, that looked like hands instead of feathers. On it's back was spikes and the long tail had been swiping back and forth, crushing the forest that had been surrounding it. He had a glowing sword in one hand and had rushed forward with a technique, he still was perfecting, but already able to see the it in it's final form. With a single slash the giant Pokémon had roared and fallen over and the princess had rushed towards him. He'd turned with a smile, only to freeze up, when his father's bearded face had rushed towards him. Then a sudden noise had suddenly awakened him and he jerked out of the bed, while rolling around and grasping for his sword, that wasn't at his side.
His foot got caught in the blanket and he was sent sprawling onto his back. The sudden contact with the ground, had him momentarily paralysed and he moved his head to the side, when the ceiling wasn't in the colour, he had expected. His eyes narrowed and he couldn't remember, why the colour would be different. A small form suddenly raced over him and he looked towards where it had disappeared off to. The sight off Pokémon remembered him, why he had left his home town to come here. A renowned professor should live, where he had ventured off to. He ought to know something about his sister, and perhaps he could also explain, why this whole 'Pokémon' thing was so popular. Maybe he even could spare one to him, so he could learn some himself.
He got himself out of the blanket, before placing it neatly back on the bed and ruffled his hair up a bit, then he walked over to the table, which had been inhabited by some nearly sleeping trainers. He bowed his head in greeting to his neighbours and grabbed a spoon and a bowl, yawning, while pondering, what he possibly could want to eat. His fingers tapped lightly on the table in a small nursery rhyme melody, while he scanned the table for it's content.
