His facial features seem to give you the display that he always has a scowl on his handsome face. Personality:
His personality is a mystery even to himself. He is at all times, if possible, civil by every meaning of the word. He is intent on maintaining a certain level of civility. He has learned one thing over the years, it's respect. He expects that it's something that is to be given until they have given you a reason not to.
He can be very temperamental at times; because of this trait he never truly lets anyone get close to him. He always keeps people at an arms reach metaphorically speaking. He never let's them in past his little bubble. He will always deal with people in a respectable manor, and come by as the most impartial of judges to any situation. He doesn't like to see anyone go unpunished for something that deserves to be. He also doesn't like to see the innocent hurt by those very same things that were set to protect them.
He is a lone wolf by all senses of the meaning. He never lets women, friends, or co-workers get close enough to him. He's not a player and will never be caught saying anything that is out of line; that is unless you provoke a side of him...that is less civil. He has a nasty temper and if provoked enough he will eventually lash out. He keeps all his feelings inside and until the time in which he is able to release them, all his anger is flown upon the person who just happens to be in his way at the time. This is the only time that you will see him do such a thing.
Benjamin, unlike most is always straight to business. He never wastes time with such menial things such as chit-chat. He will get to the point and as such his mouth has sometimes got him in trouble. He has a charm about him that most see, but he hardly shows that unless he wish's it to be seen. He thinks that life is a game of chess, you must plan many moves ahead in order to come out on top. Though he will be direct and to the point, he will sometimes let things slide and forget his where abouts. He for all means of the word is a gentlemen.
Strengths:Quick thinker, smart, void of emotion(weakness as well?), civil, very rational
Weaknesses: Very Territorial, easy to manipulate(when he trusts you), quicker to anger, hates losing, Saeran(wife), Kaiya (Daughter)
Mental Health:Stable unless provoked..then slightly unstable.
Likes: Reading, plays, suits, order, to be alone, he also enjoys reading of humans
Dislikes:Nagging, gossip, Crime, when his personal space is invaded, not being respected, dislikes law enforcement, hates authority that he feels is misused, being controlled, lied to.
Past:
In his past, or what one would call a past. He was considered to be a scholar of his ages. He had always read about things, but never truly done any of them. He was some what of a shut in and was often times referred to as the "weird genius" and as such he was much obliged to play that very role. He lived in Sicily and was never more happier than the days that he would spend by candle light, his arms tightly curled around a leather clasped book. Though on the day of November the 5th, that would sadly change forever. He didn't know it yet, but all that he knew and loved as about to change.
Let us not travel to the beginning of the man, but let us relive before his birth. He was born a young boy to Savlatore and Sybelle, the bastard son of a wealthy noble man. His father had only kept his mother was the side dish and not the main course; as such Benjamin never had much of a life growing up. A father was a concept to him; one he didn't truly understand. His mother was looked down upon for having a child in wetlock. He was locked down upon as he was the bastard son of noble. He was the shy kid and no one really remembers him, he wasn't exceptional at anything during his early years of school...as his mother was his teacher, but after a while things changed he began to grow up. It was around the age of 18 that he started to shy, he was well kept and always such a looker. He sort of gained the attention of many women in the town, but no one would date him as he never spoke and often times was considered a mute. It wasn't until one day that he had bumped into a younger woman at the market had he said anything; I'm sorry. Those were the only two words anyone had heard him say in over 4 years.
His mother and himself did have a hard childhood and growing up he didn't have many friends. only the neighbor farm girl who was born into slavery. A black woman who was bound to his family and as such he took advantage of his; of course not in the way you are thinking. He was often romeo and she was Juliet. He forced her to read through all of his boring plays as she had called them. Her name was Roselie, that was not her real name, she had been italianized by the locals and as such he had to give her a name that he would be proud of himself. He was sort of like her older brother. He didn't care about the color of her skin, he cared only that she read the plays and play along with his fictions.
Not much changed in the coming years, he loved the next two years, she did all the talking for him, while he did all the listening. It wasn't until one night that a stranger came knocked and interrupted their reenactment of the Shakespear's Othello. It was that night that he didn't remember, that night which he cannot forget; it's that night that haunts his dreams. for his life as he calls it now began that night. He began just like a predator from one of the plays, he had ripped apart Roselie's body just to feed. He had only felt of the hunger. He will never forget that night; but truly never wish's to remember it. The young woman who had called had been hurt in a fight, he hadn't known that she was a known vampi...Nightcrawler. He was bitten that night and she watched with glee as she read from the book, his thurst ripping apart his only friend, then as his mother had come over to fetch him for bed as she had often done, even though he was 21. She still came and fetched him. One was not enough for young Benjamin. He had moved to feast upon his mother. She died that night by the hand of her only son.
After this he had begun to see the light, the moonlight that is. He was one who moved and understood what he was. He wasn't going to be what everyone else wanted him to be. He knocked on his fathers door and as the maid answered the door with "Yes, can I help you?" he didn't say anything as the rain slowly dripped from his hair. he looked down "is there something I can get for you sir?" she said he replied only with "my life" he was very unstable and as such he was unsure of most of his words. He resacked his fathers house and took what he could and sold it to neighboring countries. He had amassed a fortune...but it didn't matter to him. No one dare oppose him; he had left both his half brother, and half sister alive. Saying only his parting words making them flee the country and sinking his teeth into his 'father's' skull. "now you will know the feeling of growing up without a father. " he drove them from his house.
It didn't take the villagers long to make up a lynch mob, eventually he was driven from his 'castle' and he was moved to American, where he remained underground. He only started to come back up in the past ten years or so. He had begun to take an interest in human, vampire, and gifted affairs lately.
Sample Post:
Benjamin stood as the light slowly flickered along his black suit. The flame of the candle began to dance upon his dark face flickering this way and that. He was silent as he watched the rest of the room. He had only come for the company and nothing more. it was odd that for so long he had been without company and now he lingered to have it so close to him. His thoughts his own, but everyone else's thoughts were his.
He looked over at the business man. Sex, figured. The majority of this society had one thing on their mind. Well two things, sex and money. He didn't wish for either.
He skulked along in the corner as he watched the humans go along about their business, as if any of their trivial matters really cared to him. His flame was one that would never be extinguished. It would burn for centuries, and he would continue to do what it is he always does; enjoy it as much as un-humanly possibly.
His hand reached for a young woman's shoulder as his hand lightly brushed against her shoulder. "would it be alright if I had a seat madam?" he had already begun to sit down as he read her thoughts 'oh great, another asshole trying to get lucky' he sat down and smiled at her politely 'least he's better looking than the rest' she nodded as he finally finished and positioned himself in the seat. He didn't say much just looked at her 'psycho' she thought to herself. "by now you're probably figuring that i'm crazy, that i'm just another asshole looking to get into your pants. " he looked at her and she tilted her head to the side and watched him 'oddly enough, yes. get to the point quick, if you hit on me soon and I turn you down then perhaps I can still make the leno show' He smirked as his lips tugged upwards. "I unfortunately don't think I would fit into them. " she smirked at him 'yeah, haven't heard that one before' he paid for her next two drinks and they talked about nothing more than each other, their families, his long dead, but very much alive in her mind. He was becoming eerily good at making up some excuses for where his family is now, he was good at playing the pity card. Died in a tragic accident.
He paid for her third drink and smiled, she was finally close enough to putty in his hands. "this is where I must leave you senorita." he nodded to her and kissed her hand, then her cheek. "Thank you for the wonderful conversation" he walked away and as she was just about to ask for his number, she was searching for a pen to give him her number. She dug in her purse and then looked up and he was no where to be found, the bar empty except for the statue's that were old and rather tacky, the bartender who had sat there listening to them and pretending to clean a glass was actually doing that. The hotel was a very nice place to be; though the town honey trap was the very worst place that he would like to be.
