‘Erm, no I don’t,’ he answered. He’d never had a bag. After spending so much of his time in animal form he hadn’t needed one, just tended to get by, using what he bought, leaving what was left and then buying or stealing something else later, when it was needed. He knew that it wasn’t the best way to get around but it had got him around, and for him, that was all that mattered. Unfortunately stealing was something he had done a lot of, not being able to carry money around with him and never having anything to trade. But it didn’t bother him, he had no problem with stealing for survival… or comfort. He’d try not to steal around Ammery though, he didn’t think it would go down well and didn’t want to change how she saw him; it seemed to be working well as it was.
He sat up, deciding that he was becoming a little tame. It might have had something to do with spending a lot more time in his human form, wearing borrowed clothing that didn’t fit well. He wasn’t too sure he liked it. Maybe he could soon go for a little adventure in his snow leopard fall, especially now that the weather was starting to get colder. A soft smile appeared on his lips as he thought about running through the snow. That was definitely a great way to spend part of his life. He just didn’t like it when it all started to melt, then his fur would get sodden and he would actually feel the cold. But now, he had a day of shopping and a night out ahead of him, wasn’t quite as good as gallivanting through the snow, but it was close.
Watching her throw her make-up bag into another bag, he wondered whether she would ever let him use her eyeliner if he ran out, which, if he decided to wear it as much as he used to when in human form, he would a lot. It felt cheeky to ask, but he knew that would never stop him from doing so. Or he might just use without asking, and probably get a swat over the back of the head. That was something he’d rather pass on. He had some at the moment, sneakily brought into the house after a little midday excursion a while back. Standing up he went into the room he had fallen out of a hammock many times and retrieved it from its hiding place. Jamming it in his pocket he also grabbed some money that his parents had kindly hidden around his old territory when he had been younger. He’d never really had to steal, his parents had been rich and consequently, so had he, but no one knew, and he liked to keep it that way.
Now that he had money, and eyeliner hidden in his pocket, he was ready to go. Clothes wise, he might as well get some when he was out that he could wear on everyday occasions as well as on a night out, though he had to admit that the clothes were very similar, almost identical in fact.
